PF & AD Dubai Central - Al Ain Zoo

 Hello again I will be Discussing about the first activity outing we took was to AL AIN ZOO where the Classes of Adventurers and Pathfinders together with the parents took the bus from Dubai Central Club @ Holy Trinity Church and travelled to AL AIN Zoo in March 2019.

When we arrived there the Directors made payment for the day as it was Friday we had to wait for a while before we could start our activities for our honours.

The FRIEND Class has done the honours of CATS/ DOGS & Reptiles.

When we arrived at Al Ain Zoo we had to pay the entrance fees and then we went to the gathering Area.

We had a gathering and the program for the daily activities have been discussed.

The Friend Class had some tasks to do and answers to complete for Cats, Dogs and Reptiles Honors

 

Completing the honours for the requirements of Friend Class and having some fun we saw a lot of animals. just not the one I wanted to see the most the Arabian sand cat

The last selection of discussion is the activities in the Zoo and what we did gathering the information required for our Honors. The first part of the zoo that I will display here on the unicornarty blog of mine is the reptile centre that we visited and some people that were too afraid to enter, like my teacher MG Anne due to some anxieties, to be quite honest I don't blame them as these animals are a bit creepy. I was fascinated by some of the reptiles ecpesicialy the star tortoise.

 

 

The animals we saw was a very interesting phenomenon to most of the children especially those not from Africa as they have not seen many of the animals before. My favourite animal was the Arabian wolf.

These were all the beautiful animals we saw I loved it very much and we got a little lost at the end when we were looking for the giraffe on our way back we got lost. But we found our way back and I fell asleep on the bus ride home 😅😴🚌 

the zoo was something I will never forget 10 out of 10 recommend going to this zoo.  

Induction - Pathfinders FEBRUARY 2019

I am so disappointed in myself that I been out of action for some time on my blog but I have been busy this year by doing a huge amount of 32 Honors in Pathfinders - I joined the Friends class for children 10 years old as my birthday is in January.

I am going to share some things about the induction we did at Dubai Central club where we joined as there were some other kids from South Africa and parts of Africa as well.

You can see some photos below of the induction, Incase you don't know what the induction is its the begging of the year when we get to sign up to pathfinders.

• RANGER (13 YEARS)
• VOYAGER (14 YEARS)
• GUIDE (15 YEARS)

I will attend the FRIEND class and my older sister Marne will be attending the Voyager class in 2019.

Cigna Park Run and Wafi Mall amazing day

My family and I went to do the Cigna Parkrun in Dubai and had a lot of fun we won some prizes also there was the option to do the 2,5km or the 5km so we decided to go for the 5km distance.

After we completed the 5km distance we decided to go to Wafi Mall for ice cream and then saw the Ripley's World Records exhibition.

We had a really great time and we got free shirts they say Cigna park run at the back

after that we went to wafi mall we struggled to get a parking😭😭🚗

my weekend so far

Hi, everybody, I'm sorry I haven't posted in a few days but I've been really busy I actually lost a tooth when I was eating breakfast and I got 10 dirhams from the tooth fairy this morning and yesterday we did some art activities such as drawing, painting and art with potato stamps, I have had so much fun these past 2 days oh I almost forgot here are some pictures. Dad taught us how to make potato stamps so we cut a potato into a plus shape and a flower shape and yes we did use 2 potatoes here are some pictures.
