Good day, my readers today I will be telling you about our club camp we had our annual Club Camporee in the month of April from 13th to 15th on the Scouts mission camping site in Abu Dhabi. The camping experience did not start well as the drivers that were hired to drive us had no idea where the camping site was and we got lost and arrived only by 10pm after leaving Dubai around 5pm.
A very scenic route if you ask me. Well, we packed off our goods and gear and then not long after we pitched our tents and the tent of the South African girls was the first one standing to the surprise of the Director Mijildy.
After all the activities for the day we had a campfire and then went to our tents for lights out and end of the 1st day of camping and must say I was tired as we were just going about.

The arrival at the campsite and pitching of our tents, the Camouflage tent is our tent. After the tents were all standing we were given instruction for lights out.

The next morning the first day of our camping activities started with a bang with some exercise at 4:30am way too early for my liking a girl needs her rest as well! There were also some Drilling and Marching and tent inspections all that was completed on the programme for the morning.
After the tent inspections were completed we had parade work and doing some Drilling & Marching, not my favourite activity of being a pathfinder and it was hot so I was a bit dehydrated.
That was the activities for the morning then we had lunch with Philippine favourite food and was not to my like something called Tofu as being and girl from Africa is not something I was used to and will not it was not very nice to eat, hope they give me next time some fish for protein.

Then it was time for working on the honours and dividing into different units for our honours and activities such as knots, fire building, and making a stretcher when someone got hurt.

We also participated in some games to have some fun where we competed against other units as teams.
After all the activities for the day we had a campfire and then went to our tents for lights out and end of the 1st day of camping and must say I was tired as we were just going about.

On the morning of Day 2 with was sabbath day at the camp we were woken up for the morning devotional walk that was leading by MG Daily some of the MG'S and MIT's joined in the walk also. MG Daily had bible verses on the route displayed that we identified and had to explain what it meant to us spiritually.
After we returned from our devotional walk With MG Daily as the leader to the campsite we had some relax time and breakfast was prepared and then we had breakfast and had to get dressed in our formal uniform.

We got dressed in our formal uniform and gather together for sabbath services program where many pathfinders participated in an activity of some sort like I had to read a scripture from the bible and my sister Marne had to give a testimony of what Jesus had done for her in her life. MG Sonya was leading the sabbath program with input from Pastor Calvin.
